The regional student meeting is a satellite event in the frame the Fifth Regional Symposium on Electrochemistry – South East Europe (RSE- SEE) and will be held on the opening date of the symposium. It will involve the Ph.D. students in a more active way in the RSE5 giving them the chance to make oral presentations and participate in discussions. The event will be with focus on the scientific fields of electrochemistry and electrochemical engineering and will also be attended by ISE members.

The meeting will feature two tutorial electrochemical lectures: "Structural Optimization of Solid Oxide Fuel Cells" (Prof. Oleksandr Vasylyev) and "Electrochemical methods of analysis. Phase identification by anodic linear sweep voltammetry" (Prof. Tsvetina Dobrovolska, IPC-BAS).

To take part in the Satellite Student Regional Symposium on Electrochemistry, please submit your abstracts using the RSE-SEE5 abstract template.

Five young scientists (including Ph.D. students) participating in RSE-SEE5 will be awarded with a sponsorship to cover their RSE5 registration fees. To apply, please follow the requirements for the Young Scientists Awards.
Two of the prizes are awarded with the kind sponsorship of the companies DropSense and PalmSens.

The Student Satellite Regional Symposium on Electrochemistry is organized with the support of the International Society of Electrochemistry.

The Brokerage Session is organized to:

  • build quality partnerships for participating in Horizon 2020 and other programs;
  • facilitate the setup of projects consortia;
  • discuss and develop new project ideas at regional, European and international level;
  • acquire new cross-border contacts and initiate collaborations;
  • promote research results, technologies and know-how.

It presents a unique opportunity for 15-minute presentations of potential project ideas, followed by 10 minute common discussions and unlimited face-to-face meetings during the Symposium.

The Technical exhibition presents an excellent and rare opportunity for face-to-face meeting of the producers of equipment and services with the users. The exhibit area is well-placed in the lobby in front of the conference hall, where the poster sessions and coffee breaks will take place. This location will ensure maximum contact between exhibitors and participants, as well as space and time for presentations and demonstrations.

  • Exhibitor profile in the Book of Abstracts (use the Abstract template and submission procedure)
